With June 1 looming, the Poker Players Alliance is trying everything in their power to make the UIGEA compliance date not happen. Senator Kyl has other plans, though.
The Ivey Room was unveiled on Saturday at Aria at CityCenter. PokerNews was there to talk to the man himself about the room that bears his namesake.

The World Poker Tour Barcelona drew a crowd of 326 players last week, gathering a prize pool over €1 million. It was the largest field that this stop on the WPT circuit has ever seen, with the first place €315,000 taken home by German player Ali Tekintamgac, who was playing his second-ever live event.

Tekintamgac went into the final table with the chip lead and never looked back. When heads-up play began, he held a 5-1 chip lead over his opponent, Roberto Garcia Santiago. It didn't take long for Tekintamgac to finish off his opponent. Santiago moved all-in with and was up against Tekintamgac's . The board ran out and Tekintamgac earned himself a seat in the WPT World Championship, a Tiffany bracelet, and of course, the cash.
